You don’t trust your child’s educational and social development to just anyone. But short of examining the resumes of every childcare center’s staff, how do you know they’re qualified to care for your children? The accreditations and licenses of a childcare center and staff show that your child’s daycare provider meets the standards set by New Mexico State and other professional organizations.
Highly Qualified Staff
At Smiling Faces and Kids Academy, all of our teachers and assistants have documented credentials including:
- Child Care Education Institute (CCEI) certification—This program meets and exceeds New Mexico’s minimum requirements for Early Childhood Educational professionals.
- CPR/First Aid Training—Our staff maintains their certification and stays current on changes in rescue procedures through quarterly training sessions.
Some of our teachers already possess higher level credentials, including bachelor degrees. We encourage our teachers to keep up with changes in childcare requirements and trends through various professional development opportunities.
High Quality Centers
At Smiling Faces and Kids Academy, we do everything we can to provide your child with a clean, comfortable, and safe learning environment. In fact, our daycare centers are praised by parents all the time. We expect our efforts to maintain a healthy and positive environment will soon be rewarded with New Mexico’s recognition. We are currently on the waiting list for a STA R rating evaluation.
Knowing what professional accreditations and licenses to look for can help you find quality childcare. In Albuquerque, NM, Smiling Faces and Kids Academy centers and staff have the knowledge, skills, and credentials you want in your child’s caregivers.
